Malaysia Visa Programmes Eligibility Check & Intake Form

MM2H & PVIP — Malaysia Long-Term Visas

Visa Eligibility Check & Intake Form

Complete this short assessment to check your eligibility, identify the right programme tier, and give us what we need to prepare an accurate engagement scope. There is no charge for the initial eligibility review.

Both MM2H and PVIP have defined financial thresholds that are strictly assessed. Your answers to the financial section will help us match you to the programme and tier where you most comfortably qualify — not just the minimum. Answer as accurately as possible.

01
Personal Profile

Your personal background, current residency, and professional situation. Both programmes require offshore income or assets — your profile is the starting point of eligibility assessment.

Age affects financial thresholds for some MM2H tiers. PVIP has no minimum age requirement.

02
Financial Position

Both MM2H and PVIP assess offshore financial health. Thresholds differ by programme and tier. Answer as accurately as possible — we use this to match you to the tier where you comfortably qualify, not the minimum.

Programme financial benchmarks (approximate):
MM2H Silver — MYR 500K (~USD 110K) liquid assets, MYR 10K/mo offshore income
MM2H Gold — MYR 1.5M (~USD 330K) liquid assets, MYR 20K/mo income
MM2H Platinum — MYR 5M (~USD 1.1M) liquid assets, MYR 40K/mo income
PVIP — MYR 5M (~USD 1.1M) placed in approved investment instruments

This is used to prepare your source of funds statement — a mandatory submission for both programmes. A clear, supported narrative makes approval significantly more likely.

03
Family & Dependants

Both MM2H and PVIP allow a spouse and dependant children under 21 to be included on the same application. Dependant parents may also be eligible. Each dependant adds a modest cost but no additional financial threshold.

04
Malaysian Ties & Intentions

Your reasons for choosing Malaysia and how you intend to use your residency. This shapes which programme tier is most appropriate, and whether employment or property requirements apply to you.

ℹ️ Local employment restriction: MM2H Silver and Gold holders may not take local Malaysian employment. Only MM2H Platinum and PVIP holders are permitted to engage in local employment with a separate employment pass. If local employment is important, we'll need to ensure you qualify for those tiers.

Spending over 182 days/year in Malaysia generally triggers Malaysian tax residency. This may be beneficial or not, depending on your overall tax situation.

05
Programme Preference & Timeline

Tell us which programme you're considering and your timeline. If you're unsure, we'll recommend the best fit based on your financial position, family structure, and goals.

ℹ️ Prior declined application: A declined MM2H or PVIP application doesn't preclude reapplying, but we need to understand what happened. Programme requirements and financial thresholds have changed significantly since 2021. Please describe the prior application in the notes below.
